Trauma Informed Registered Massage Therapy

that supports nervous system regulation, relieves pain and tension, and helps you reconnect with your body.

This approach is for women who are seeking a thoughtful, collaborative approach to healing, one that honours the pace of the nervous system rather than pushing past it

Two distinct approaches to support your nervous system, each meeting you in different ways.

Somatic Massage Therapy

Hands-on massage therapy that weaves traditional therapeutic massage with somatic awareness, helping you reconnect with your body's sensations, boundaries, and inner experience as healing unfolds.

Somatic Massage Therapy combines skilled therapeutic massage with an attuned awareness of the nervous system. While it includes the hands-on techniques of massage therapy, the focus extends beyond muscles and tension to include your body's sensations, protective responses, emotions, and capacity for regulation.

This approach may be good fit if you:

  • Experience chronic tension or pain that seems connected to stress or trauma.

  • Feel disconnected from your body or struggle to notice what you're feeling.

  • Want massage therapy that honours your nervous system rather than working against it.

  • Are looking for a slower, more collaborative approach to bodywork.

  • Feel ready to explore the relationship between physical tension, emotions, and protective patterns.

What you can expect in a session:

  • Therapeutic massage tailored to your body's needs, while remaining attuned to your nervous system's capacity and pace.

  • Gentle invitations to notice sensations, breath, or internal experience, allowing your body, not just your muscles, to guide the session.

  • Space for choice and collaboration, with ongoing consent and opportunities to pause, adjust, or explore what feels most supportive.

Co-Regulating Touch

A fully clothed, nervous system-focused approach that uses intentional touch to support regulation, safety, and the restoration of developmental capacities. Rooted in the work of Kathy Kain and informed by extensive training in Somatic Experiencing®.

Co-Regulating Touch is a fully clothed form of bodywork designed specifically for nervous system dysregulation and developmental trauma. Rather than treating muscles or soft tissue, this approach uses carefully attuned touch to support your nervous system in experiencing greater safety, regulation, and connection. My approach is informed by advanced training with Kathy Kain and years of study in Somatic Experiencing®.

This approach may be a good fit if you:

  • Feel overwhelmed or easily activated by touch or life.

  • Live with chronic nervous system dysregulation.

  • Have experienced developmental, attachment, or relational trauma.

  • Find it difficult to settle, rest, or experience a sense of safety in your body.

  • Feel that traditional massage has been "too much" or hasn't addressed what you're really seeking.

  • Want to begin with an approach that prioritizes regulation over tre

What you can expect in a session:

  • Fully clothed, intentional touch designed to support nervous system regulation.

  • Periods of quiet presence and mindful awareness, allowing your nervous system time to settle and integrate at its own pace.

  • Simple orienting or resourcing practices, woven into the session to strengthen your body's innate capacity for safety, regulation, and connection.

Not sure which approach is right for you?

You don't need to know which approach is right before reaching out. During our consultation, we'll explore your goals, your nervous system, and your relationship with touch to determine where to begin. For some people, Co-Regulating Touch provides the safest foundation before transitioning into Somatic Massage Therapy. For others, Somatic Massage Therapy is the most appropriate starting place. The path is always guided by your unique needs and capacity.

Your body is not a battleground.
It is a doorway. A remembrance.
A sacred home.
